“When are you going to get a real job?” I remember hearing that as I set out for my first year of summer sales.
I had no idea how I would succeed. I wanted so badly to please those around me and didn’t want to let anyone down, especially those closest to me. All too often, I’ve found we allow the limiting beliefs of our peer groups to keep us from truly letting our light shine.
What I discovered after having a very successful summer is that there is always someone watching your every move, secretly hoping you will be successful, even if their actions and words don’t match their beliefs. Your success will finally allow them the freedom to take a new risk in their life and fully express their greatness.
In my experience, the doubters and the haters are the ones who need your example of success the most.
It is my conviction that you are blessed with different talents and gifts that can be of use and value in your family, business, church group, community, country, and any other group you’re a part of. You and the value you can offer are NEEDED as an inspiration to others.
